Medical equipment in the fight against COVID-19
The first donation campaign of Krustina Stefanova, Sibina Grigorova and Desislava Olovanova started after the declaration of the state of emergency on March 13, 2020 in Bulgaria due to the spread of COVID-19 and the unprecedented pressure on hospitals due to the growing number of patients. The aim is to raise funds for the purchase of 5 ventilators for Alexandrovska University Hospital in the capital.
The campaign managed to raise 154,608 euros in a record 8 hours.
The entire amount was used for the purchase of ventilators and the equipment of a new ward for patients with COVID-19 in the hospital with hospital beds and mobile X-rays.
All funds were donated to the cause, and for the costs of it, the three women use personal funds.
